ABOUT
My name is Yael and I am 26 years old. I graduated from Shenkar College of design, and have a degree in textile design, I specialized in knitting. During my years at Shenkar I found a strong attraction to simple and minimalistic patterns. My final project was a knitted men collection, while making it I just couldnt wait and started working on my first off school knitted women collection.I opened my new brand - Andy Ve Eirn a couple of months ago and named it after my grandparents who are very important in my life. Andy Ve Eirn is all about the textile, my education in textile formation gives me the ability to start designing from the yarn itself, so I have complete control on the final product from the beginning. All the knitting patterns are my special and originals design. I took my influence from geometric shapes and that is why my dressmaking patterns are simple and basic. The textile is the main player and is getting all the focus. The colors i usually work with are shades of grey, antic pink and off white, beautiful neutral colors that probably fit almost every item you own. The materials I use are cotton, linen and viscose.I feel that my work represents my agenda, simple and minimalistic things that every woman would like to have in her closet.
